Second: One of the things I am currently doing these days, is putting together and finalizing our marketing and PR Plan for 2011. One of our partners in Double Cluepon is acting as our Convention Liaison.
So, in addition to putting ads in books, we will also be doing some buttons, prints and shirts too. One of the things we will be looking to put together at some point is a cosplay gang to hand this stuff out, and to raise awareness of Emerald Kingdom, and Double Cluepon. Right now, I have decided to search through DeviantArt for cosplayers who show some talent, not only with costume design, but show no fear of the camera either. Another thing is, we need to figure out constants for some costumes.
Avatea seems a natural...but I sure would love to see a
Sheyala out there too.
So, if you're from Chicago, and suddenly got a watch from us...it's because we think your cosplay is top notch. We may even reach out to you. As usual, and with anyone we work with...it will be worth your while.
In the coming weeks, we will be taking more steps to get into the underground game and con community here in Chicago. All in anticipation of our coming open beta.
