The Emerald Kingdom "Fill in our blanks" Contest.

We have been busy. In our busy schedule, we recently have begun to model various Sprites, and items. But sadly...we are lacking some things. So, we figured, why not throw it out to our fans. See what comes our way.

So, we want you to design something for Emerald Kingdom.

It can be a monster. Obviously, draw it how you wish! Our artist will do a concept of it, based on your entry, if you win. Make sure you include the following:

* Name of the monster/beast.
* A good description of how it attacks.
* Its size. (relative. Our Player Characters will be based on a four head high model)

It can be a pet. If it is, please be aware that all pets in the Emerald Kingdom design spec must have a use. In other words, if you make a pretty pretty unicorn, thats all well and good. But can it increase your carry capacity? Does it shoot magical explosive leprechauns? We need to know. Feel free to draw it how you wish, Our artist will do a concept of it, based on your entry if you win. Make sure you include the following:

* Name of the pet.
* A drawing, of course.
* A good description of its function and/or enhancement properties.
* It's size. (relative. Our Player Characters will be based on a four head high model)

It can be an item (weapon, bag, etc) too! Draw a picture of it! (This should go without saying by now). Our artist will do a concept of it, based on your entry should you win. It can be any kind of item you like. It can even be a useless item. Every game should have a useless item! Be sure you include the following with your entry:

* Name of the item.
* A drawing, of course.
* Whether it serves a function, or is just a useless item.
* It's size.

We will select three winners, based purely on the judging by Double Cluepon Employees. We will attempt to pick a winner from each category, if possible. If it is not, we will simply pick the best three overall, no matter what category they are in. The prize for each winner will be:

   * We will name a major NPC, either after you, or with a name you supply. We will also allow you to submit
        a drawing/spec of how it should look.
   * Winners will also receive a 3 month subscription to DeviantArt.

Now for the rules and the fine print...

   1. Contest runs between today, 3/29/2010 and 4/9/2010. The deadline for submissions: 11:30 PM CST on April 9th, 2010.

   2. Contest is open to anyone.

   3. You may submit as many items as you like.

   5. All submissions, while they can be posted to your dA gallery, they must still be emailed to contest@doublecluepon.com. Please include the artwork, along with the descriptions in the body of the email.

   6. Winners will be determined by the employees of Double Cluepon Software based on detail, articulation, and completeness of the description, as well as any other supporting materials. Winners will be announced on April 12th, 2010.

   7. This must be a fully original work. Any use, re-use or theft of other game property, art, or descriptions which do not belong to you will disqualify you. In other words, if it is not your own completely original work, you will be disqualified. You may use original work from your past, or do something new. Using someone else's obscure drawing will be a bad idea.

   8. Judging of the winners is final.

   9. Prizes will be awarded once rights transfer has been successfully completed, and returned to Double Cluepon Software, Inc.

   10. We reserve the right to approve all names supplied by the winner. (in other words, if you win, and you want to name your NPC something totally inappropriate, we will ask that you submit another name) Similarly, NPC must fit thematically within the context of Emerald Kingdom. All submissions are subject to approval.
